As promised, here are more pics from NYC. The water towers on top of the buildings in SoHo really caught my eye. Since I'm still working through these, I haven't put any up on Ebay or Etsy yet, but if you see one that you like and want a print of let me know!

New York City (Part 1)
I got back from a trip to New York City last week and really enjoyed the change in scenery and being able to spend time in such an awesome place. This was my second trip to NYC and I've decided I definitely want to start going at least once a year. What a great place to go from a photography standpoint too! I constantly had my camera with me and the city didn't disappoint when it came to finding interesting shots. I'll be putting up photos for a while, here's the first batch!

Reece Braggs- Part 4
My final visit to the hospital for Reece went great. He's improved so much from the first time I went to photograph him, it's great to see that he's doing so much better. Here are some of my favorite shots!

Reece Braggs- Part 3
Last weekend I got some more pictures of Reece at St. Mary's. The light during our time together wasn't good at all. The lights in the room were mostly off and the window didn't provide much help since it was a really overcast day. I had a put the ISO (the digital equivalent of film speed) higher than I normally do to compensate for the lower light, in addition I also slowed the shutter speed which presented a challenge since I was hand holding the camera. These two factors made the photos appear to have more grain than I'd like. However, despite the less-than-ideal lighting I think I came away with some good shots.

Reece Braggs- Part 2
I got the chance to meet Mike and Sarah's new son, Reece, a few weeks ago. I was a little nervous going into the section of the hospital where he's staying, I wasn't sure what sort of obstacles I would come across and I definitely didn't want to get in the way of the staff or end up bumping into a piece of equipment or something. Due to the low availability of light and the space confinements I really had to increase the ISO in order to not underexpose the shots. Other than that things went really well and so far the proud parents are really pleased with the pictures of their new addition.
