This weekend I got the opportunity to attend a brazilian jiu-jitsu seminar taught by Nino Schembri, bjj black belt and MMA veteran, hosted at fellow black belt Gustavo Machado's academy in Virginia Beach. The seminar was awesome and afterwards some of my training partners, who have a blog and podcast about bjj, got to record a talk with Gustavo and Nino. The conversation centered around brazilian jiu-jitsu, but topics ranged from Nino and Gustavo's beginnings in the sport to Nino's fights in the Pride Fighting Championships.
